High-performance organic solar cell and self-power photodetector with chemically robust, near-infrared acceptor enabled by strengthening interfacial contact and compositional modulation

•BCP has strong physical bonding with the active layer, and also has efficient electron extraction and hole blocking characteristics.•O6T-4F is a chemically robust material that does not react with CILs.•The third component of PCBM has higher electron mobility to balance electron and hole transport to reduce recombination.•This work realizes high-quality visible and NIR imaging with 80 × 260 pixels.
