Abstract
•In this study, salidroside (SD) was used as a template molecule to synthesize a molecularly imprinted polymer (MIP) using TiO2-doped chitosan oligosaccharides as the functional monomer.•The SDT-MIPs had good adsorption properties for salidroside. The SDT-MIPs were able to reach the maximum concentration of the drug after 4 h in simulated gastric fluid.•The SDT-MIPs are biocompatible and have potential for use in drug delivery applications.
