摘要

•Au-Pd alloy nanoparticles were obtained by single pulse laser-induced dewetting.•Au-Pd nanoparticles were fabricated directly on the surface of a semiconductor thin film.•The alloyed Au-Pd nanoparticles improve the photocatalytic activity of ZnO films.
