Thermodynamically-equilibrium LCST phase diagram of PCL/SAN mixtures determined by thermal analysis: Opposing effects of hydrophilic and hydrophobic silica nanoparticles

•Two-step isothermal DSC tests were applied for PCL/SAN/nanosilica systems.•Crystallization kinetic was tracked at different annealing times and temperatures.•LCST phase separation temperatures were determined by the DSC tests.•Without kinetic factor effects, nanosilicas affect the phase transition inversely.•Opposing effects of silica on phase diagram is related to the localization sate.
