Abstract
In Figure 1 of the published article, there were two errors: MipZ was incorrectly shown to be added to the GTP-bound end of FtsZ and the polarity of FtsZ was reversed. A corrected version of the figure has now been supplied and the online version of the article has been updated with the corrected figure. The authors regret any inconvenience caused. Please find corrected figure below: Cap-tivating findings provide insight into bacterial cell divisionSallmen et al.Trends in MicrobiologyJanuary 25, 2023In BriefIn most bacteria, cell division is orchestrated by the tubulin homolog FtsZ. To ensure the correct placement of the division machinery, FtsZ activity needs to be tightly regulated. Corrales-Guerrero et al. now describe the molecular details of how MipZ, an alphaproteobacterial regulator, interacts with FtsZ to promote proper cell division. Full-Text PDF Open Access
