Effective treatment requires interventions based on a sound understanding of the disease process, currently lacking for Long COVID. We wish to draw attention to the Reactive Species Interactome paradigm, which provides a unifying hypothesis, facilitating the design and conduct of clinical studies and enabling a structured approach to identification of novel treatments, preventing this silent pandemic from further escalating.
