津与血关系密切,二者同生互化且同功,血滞为瘀,津停则为水饮,因而瘀与水也密切相关."血不利则为水"是瘀水关系的体现,同时也是许多水肿疾病的核心病机,如心性水肿、肾性水肿、臌胀、乳腺癌术后淋巴水肿、癌性腹水、脑梗死急性期脑水肿和黄斑水肿,均与血瘀导致水肿相关,临床上活血利水法治疗此类疾病,也取得了很好的疗效.
