代谢相关脂肪性肝病(MAFLD),原名非酒精性脂肪性肝病(NAFLD),是基于肝脏脂肪积聚(肝细胞脂肪变性)的组织学(肝活检)、影像学及血液生物标志物证据,同时合并以下3项条件之一:超重/肥胖、2 型糖尿病、代谢功能障碍的慢性肝病[1].国家中医药管理局中医肝病协作组将 NAFLD 的中医病名确定为"肝癖".
