Abstract
Obese and non-obese patients experienced similar surgical outcomes. Our results showed that BMI did not adversely affect reherniation or re-operation rate following LMD. If clinically indicated, LMD can be performed in obese patients with disc herniation without a significantly higher re-operation rate.
