In Memoriam: Sean Christopher Grondin (1966-2022).

On November 14, 2022, a bright light within thoracic surgery was lost with the death of Dr Sean Grondin, an incredible leader, a selfless friend and mentor, and a loving husband and father (Figure). His absence is felt by many. Without Dr Grondin there is a little less laughter, a little less joy, and an irreparable loss of an amazing leader in our specialty.
