Patent foramen ovale closure with the Occlutech Figulla flex II device: A long-term (up to 10-years) follow-up

•Percutaneous PFO closure with two-discs permanent devices has been proved to be safe and superior to medical treatment•We evaluated long-term outcomes of PFO patients treated with Occlutech Figulla Flex two-discs occluder device•Technical success was achieved in 401 (99.7%) of the patients.•Patients undergoing PFO Closure with Figulla Flex device had no stroke/TIAs recurrences on a long-term follow-up with very low (2.5%) residual persisting shunts.•Occlutech Figulla Flex for PFO closure can be used safely with a high success rate and very low long-term SADE.
