Serious Stem Cell Donation Events and Recipient Adverse Reactions Related to Severe Acute Respiratory Syndrome Coronavirus 2: Review of Reports to the World Marrow Donor Association

•There were no reports of severe Coronavirus disease 2019 among donors testing positive for severe acute respiratory syndrome coronavirus 2 (SARS-CoV-2).•There were no reports of transmission of SARS-CoV-2 from donors to recipients.•The most frequently reported events were of cells being unused.•Transplantation centers should verify recipient eligibility before the start of the donation process.•Processing facilities should validate viability assays and anticipate cell losses.
