Abstract
MRI characteristics of non-HIV cryptococcal meningitis include hydrocephalus, meningeal and ependymal enhancement and basal ganglia lesions. Optimal imaging is, however, necessary to maximize the diagnostic and prognostic usefulness of MRI.
