The application of texture and color enhanced imaging for endoscopic submucosal dissection.

Identification of the submucosal plane is crucial for endoscopic submucosal dissection (ESD). The use of dye in the injection solution is a common method. Texture- and color-enhanced imaging (TXI) optimizes the image by postprocessing of structure, color, and brightness (Olympus Optical, Tokyo, Japan). This report describes a case of gastric ESD performed under TXI.
