A spinal cord stimulator (SCS) trial is essential to identify patients who may benefit from the therapy, determine optimal stimulation configuration, and establish the lead position for the permanent implant. During the trial, lead migration is associated with numerous negative consequences, including inadequate programming, false-negative lack of efficacy, and suboptimal lead placement at the time of the permanent implantation. As such, it is critical to define the ideal technique for securing leads to limit migration.
