Paleozoic VMS-type stratiform mineralization overprinted by Mesozoic vein-type mineralization in the Yushui copper deposit, eastern Guangdong, South China

•The Middle-Late Jurassic vein-type ore body and Late Paleozoic stratiform ore body are superimposed on the Yushui copper deposit.•Paleo-Pacific plate subduction led to magmatic activity caused by crust-mantle activity and regional mineralization on both sides of Zhenghe-Dafu fault.
