摘要

•HbA1c was found to be inversely correlated with increasing SUA tertiles.•No significant HbA1c change observed with increasing SUA levels in healthy and prediabetic groups.•Diabetic men and women showed inverse association between SUA/SCr ratio and HbA1c.•Multivariate analysis found significant positive correlation between SUA and metabolic risk factors.
