A collinear resonance ionisation spectroscopy setup has been developed with the aim to study the nuclear properties of more exotic isotopes. It is developed on the basis of a recently-commissioned collinear laser spectroscopy, and could in principle measure the hyperfine structure spectra of studied isotopes using both laser-induced fluorescence and laser resonance ionisation approaches. In this paper, the latest technique development, the progress on the test of the vacuum system and the ion beam transportation, and the near-term offline experimental plans are presented.
