Safinamide detection based on Prussian blue analogue modified Solid-contact potentiometric sensor

•The first potentiometric sensing platform for determination of SAF was developed.•A Prussian Blue Analogue thin coating was used as an ion-to-electron transducer material.•The proposed sensors were successfully employed in the selective determination of SAF in pure powder form and formulation.•Assessment of the greenness was performed using GAPI and AGREE metrics.•The RBG-12 Algorithm was utilized in assessment of method whitnesscompared to the reported ones.
