摘要

•A high-performance Fe-based metal organic terephthalates were proposed as newly anode materials for K-ion batteries.•The effect of structure and surface on K-storage property of temperature-depended Fe-based metal organic terephthalate in KFSI-based electrolyte was systemically investigated.•The K-storage mechanism is based on the reversible Fe/carbonyl dual redox centers.
