Abstract
•A brushed magnetic microbeads carrier with host-guest structures is established.•The bioactivity of capture antibodies on beads could be well preserved.•The nonspecific adsorption of detection antibodies is greatly reduced.•Our carrier shows 8–9 times signal to noise enhancement than conventional ones.
