摘要

•The genomic diversity of the Czech and other Holstein subpopulations was investigated.•Inbreeding in the AI bulls was very high and far exceeded the inbreeding in the cows.•Using of highly inbred AI bulls will lead to a high level of inbreeding in the Czech subpopulation.•The differences in the Holstein subpopulations are consequence of different breeding programs.
