Chronically homeless veterans with gambling disorder: Epidemiology, clinical correlates, and traumatic experiences

•Veterans are vulnerable to both homelessness and gambling disorder (GD).•Of 6053 veterans with GD, 28.6% were chronically homeless.•Chronic homelessness had more adverse clinical and behavioral correlates.•Victimization and trauma were prevalent in chronically homeless veterans with GD.
