摘要

•Coronary artery calcification is associated with inability to achieve optimal results after PCI.•This may be due to underexpansion or stent deformation / fracture.•Intravascular lithotripsy has emerged as an alternative to optimize calcified plaques prior to stenting.•Our study showed no difference between stent expansion using IVL compared to conventional angioplasty.
