The clinico pathological features and survival in serous endometrial cancers

•Serous endometrial cancers are uncommon among the endometrial cancers.•Patients diagnosed with these tumours have poor prognosis if not treated early and adequately.•These tumours need aggressive surgery and optimal debulking.•Multimodality of adjuvant therapy with chemotherapy and radiation are mandatory.•Newer modalities of treatment such as targeted therapy may improve survival.
