摘要

•A co-generation system combining bioethanol and energy generation for yeast MFC was investigated.•The stacked MFC combination was used in ethanol and power management solution.•The developed system successfully produced ethanol and charged the battery.•A mathematical model of ethanol and Open Circuit Voltage (OCV) estimation was also developed.
