•In-silico HRMS database was built and applied in phenolamides identification.•Isomers of phenolamides were differentiated based on MS2 diagnostic fragmentation.•21 types of phenolamides and over 80 isomers were identified in tea flowers.•Phenolamides in tea flower have rich structural diversity.
