摘要

•Detection of hepatocellular carcinoma (HCC) is crucial during surveillance by ultrasound.•We developed an AI system for detection of focal liver lesions (FLL) in ultrasound.•This study used the AI system to assist operators during ultrasound examinations.•The AI system resulted in increase in the detection of FLL by non-expert operators.
