Diseases, Health Related Problems And The Prevalence And Incidence Of Malnutrition In Long-Term Care Facilities

Rationale: Diseases and malnutrition are known to co-occur in residents of long-term care facilities (LTCF), however data on incident malnutrition are lacking. We assessed which diseases and health related problems were associated with malnutrition at admission to a LTCF, and which ones with incident malnutrition during stay. Finally, we studied how different operationalizations of malnutrition affected these associations.
