Engineered CD8+ T cell-derived extracellular vesicles induce enhanced anti-cancer efficacy and targeting to lung cancer cells

•Human primary CD8+ T cell-derived EVs have anti-tumor effects on A549, human lung cancer cells.•Attachment of IL-2 and anti-EGFR antibodies to the EV surface enhances cancer cell cytotoxicity and immune vulnerability.•Displaying anti-EGFR antibodies on EV surface enhances cancer targetability in an EGFR-dependent manner.
