Estimating motor unit numbers from a CMAP scan: Repeatability study on three muscles at 15 centres

•To test MScanFit MUNE repeatability, 15 centres recorded CMAP scans from 148 healthy subjects twice from ADM, APB and TA muscles.•The coefficients of variation between repeats were 18.0% for ADM, 16.8% for APB, and 12.1% for TA with revised MScanFit-2 version.•CMAP amplitudes differed significantly between centres for all muscles whereas MUNE using MScanFit-2 differed only for APB.
