摘要
Prior literature has suggested that schizophrenia is a neurodevelopmental disorder. Patients with schizophrenia show aberrations in myelination which develops into late adolescence and coincides with the onset of the disorder. The deficit syndrome is a clinical subtype of schizophrenia which may be due to disrupted developmental processes specifically related to myelin. Here, we quantified cortical myelin to assess differences in myelin maps between clinical patient subtypes of schizophrenia.
