摘要
Neuroanatomical abnormalities in fronto-limbic systems have been associated with disorders of emotion regulation, such as bipolar disorder (BD), but findings have not always been replicated due to small samples and differences in analysis methods. Understanding disruptions in the rearrangement and connections of fronto-limbic regions with other cortico-subcortical subnetworks is key to understanding how the human brain’s architecture underpins abnormalities of mood and emotion.
