Abstract
Prior research demonstrates that people with comorbid mental health diagnoses are particularly at risk of developing posttraumatic stress disorder (PTSD), yet few research studies have investigated the impact of PTSD in acute psychiatric settings, such as partial hospital programs (PHP). The present study examined how PTSD symptoms may influence treatment outcomes– depression, anxiety, overall functioning– among patients (N=1298) attending a PHP.
