摘要
Intrusive memories (IMs) are a hallmark posttraumatic stress symptom and are characterized by spontaneous, contextually-deficient reliving of sensory details of the index event. Coordinated interactions between the posterior (vs. anterior) hippocampus and occipitoparietal regions have been implicated in the contextually-bound replay of sensory-perceptual features of episodic memory. We examined if the temporal dynamics of these interactions are associated with the spontaneous sensory-rich reliving properties of trauma-related IMs (TR-IMs).
