摘要
A neuronal engram is defined as the ensembled of cells in the brain that are active during both encoding and retrieval of a particular memory. These engrams are identifiable with immediate-early genes (IEGs), which are rapidly expressed upon neuronal activation, but the extent to which expression patterns are congruent between different IEGs is unclear.
