Abstract
Social factors are critical to neuropsychiatric disorder patient outcomes. We developed new transgenic mouse lines using outbred CD1 mice as our background strain since CD1 mice are strongly socially motivated. In this study, we tested whether hybrid F1 female offspring maintain the social phenotype when bred with transgenic mice of a less social background strain (C57BL/6J).
