Linking Brain-Wide Activity Patterns During Neuroeconomic Decision Making to Aggression

Aggression is an evolutionarily conserved response to a perceived threat that spans a large range of diverse behaviors, including those that may be adaptive and protective as well as those that may be pathological and dangerous to others. It is unclear how pathological aggression may “hijack” key reward circuits in the brain, contributing to maladaptive reinforcement of aggression.
