Chronic Ecological Assessment of Intracranial Neural Activity Synchronized to Disease-Relevant Behaviors in Obsessive-Compulsive Disorder

Adaptive deep brain stimulation (aDBS) has emerged as a potential strategy for improving the efficacy of DBS therapy for both movement and psychiatric disorders. Until recently, opportunities for intracranial electrophysiological recordings in individuals with psychiatric disorders have been limited to in-hospital settings, which are not conducive to capturing the wide variety of symptom states necessary to develop robust classifiers to inform therapy changes.
