Abstract
•Artificial intelligence models to predict absorption chillers behavior was proposed.•A strategy modeling was built though the intelligent regression methods.•The COP was estimated at 0.71 ± 0.05 within the values found by the manufacturer.•The proposed strategy represents a robust analysis tool for absorption chiller.•Outlet temperature predicted presenting a good accuracy showing errors below 1 %.
