Trial in progress: Application of plasma circulating HPV DNA testing to management of cervical intraepithelial neoplasia

We aim to determine if absolute quantification of circulating human papillomavirus (HPV) DNA (cHPVDNA), using droplet digital PCR, has the potential as a non-invasive biomarker for identification and treatment monitoring of Cervical Intraepithelial Neoplasia (CIN) 2–3 by characterizing the correlation between plasma cHPVDNA levels and CIN 1 versus CIN 2–3 prior to intervention (Primary objective) and following therapeutic resection (Secondary objective).
