Partial purification of crude lipase extract from Yarrowia lipolytica: Precipitation, aqueous two-phase systems (ATPS), and immobilization methods

•Due to the presence of biosurfactant it was not possible to obtain precipitates.•In three ATPS, lipases and proteases migrated preferentially to opposite phases.•Higher partition values were obtained at a pH range greater than or equal to pH 7.•It was possible to identify 3 lipases of different sizes by lipase-lipase interaction.•The 67 kDa lipase remained immobilized even after 2% detergent on all three supports.
