Breastfeeding and room-sharing during COVID-19 in the Netherlands: The impact of perinatal healthcare support

•Exclusive breastfeeding rates did not change during COVID-19, and duration was higher in higher-educated, multipara mothers.•Room-sharing rates and duration seemingly increased during COVID-19 and were higher in higher-educated mothers and multipara.•More perinatal healthcare support was linked to shorter room-sharing duration.
