Spatial-temporal differentiation pattern and influencing factors of high-quality development in counties: A case of Sichuan, China

•To evaluate the development level based on endogenous coordination of high-quality development system.•High-quality development system consists of five subsystems: innovation, coordination, green, openness and sharing.•The endogenous coordination among systems was assessed by the coupling coordination degree.•The spatial–temporal differentiation pattern of high-quality development in Sichuan Province was presented.•Geographical Detector was used for attribution analysis.
