Correlations between kynurenines in plasma and CSF, and their relation to markers of Alzheimer’s disease pathology

•Plasma levels of all kynurenines were positively correlated with those in CSF.•Correlations between plasma and CSF were strongest for QA.•QA showed a tendency for positive associations with CSF Aβ1-42.•KYN, KA, and KTR in CSF were all positively associated with CSF Aβ1-42.•KYN, both in plasma and CSF, was negatively associated with CSF p-tau.
