Abstract
Efficient two-photons and three-photons pumped upconversion emission were investigated in highly transparent Er3+ ions doped lead lanthanum zirconate titanate ceramics excited by using near infrared lasers centered at 980 nm, 1064 nm, and 1550 nm. Temperature dependent spectral changes of the multi-photons upconversion emission were explored, and highly sensitive temperature sensors were obtained based on the energy difference between 2H11/2 and 4S3/2. Using this temperature sensor, the temperature changes of the Er3+ ions doped lead lanthanum zirconate titanate ceramics was tested by irradiating the sample with a high-energy femtosecond laser at 1550 nm. This work is useful for developing a highly sensitive non-contact temperature measurement sensors, which provides the necessary theoretical basis for its practical application.(c) 2023 Elsevier B.V.
