Comment on “Position-dependent mass Schrödinger particles in space-like screw dislocation: associated degeneracies and magnetic and Aharonov–Bohm flux fields effects”

In this comment, we analyze recent theoretical results based on a model for “non-relativistic position-dependent mass Schrödinger particles moving in an elastic medium with space-like screw dislocation”. We show that the exact analytical eigenvalues obtained by the authors from a crucial radial eigenvalue equation cannot be correct. For this reason, the main conclusions about the behaviour of the energies of the particles are also incorrect.
