Abstract
Abstract Anisomyopia (anisometropic myopia) is defined as an inter-ocular difference greater than one dioptre between eyes among myopic individuals. The co-occurrence of anisomyopia in siblings is extremely rare. A pair of 9-year-old identical twin sisters reported to a tertiary eye care centre for myopia management. In this case report, we evaluated the clinical findings and the structural features of anisomyopia including retinal imaging. The siblings were corrected for anisomyopia with full and optimal correction and closely monitored for progression pattern. Since the annual progression was higher than − 0.75 D, a low dose atropine 0.01% was prescribed. This report also warrants a need for prescribing guidelines for anisomyopic subjects in different age groups.
