摘要
Bioinformatics is a tool that provides solutions for understanding the complex information and deciphering biological codes to clarify the cases related to genomics data and biotechnology; it encompasses research involving the improvement of prediction, calculations, and measurements for understanding complicated ongoing biologic cases. Fungi are known to have the most significant and broadest arrangement of sequenced genomes among eukaryotes. An abundance of information is substantial if we can convert it into an easy form for better understanding using bioinformatics instruments intended to address inquiries into biological puzzles. Internet databases can be mined for information on different scientific areas (systematics, hereditary qualities, pathology, and evolutionary biology) and for genomic and other “omic” data to clarify biological cases. Here, we review recent insights into highlighting and briefly showing these resources available for further studies with bioinformatic tools. Besides, we discuss the evolution mechanisms (mutations, genome plasticity, transposable elements) of pathogenic fungi, current strategies in the identification of fungal effectoromes, and functional analysis methods (in planta expression system, host-induced gene silencing, and CRISPR/Cas-mediated genome editing) that help expand our knowledge about effector biology.
