Research on setting method of fatigue warning sign on desert expressway based on driver's heart and myoelectric index

Abstract Through on-the-spot investigation of the Uma Expressway through the Tengger Desert in China, the same road scene as the actual road was built on the uc-win road, driving simulation was performed in the simulation cabin, cardiac and EMG indicators were collected, and fatigue characteristics were analyzed. Simultaneously, several groups of different fatigue warning signs were simulated, and the changes and interaction rules of ECG and EMG indexes were analyzed to obtain the best setting method for the signs. Finally, the rationality of the setting scheme is verified based on the agglomerative hierarchical system cluster analysis method. The results show that during the driving process, both the driver's psychological fatigue and physical fatigue show a significant increase in fluctuations, and the growth trend has four stages, namely stable fluctuation (0-30min), initial fatigue (35-85min), adjustment stage (85-160min), severe fatigue (after 160min), and psychological fatigue is earlier than physiological fatigue, the driver's adjustment effect on physiological fatigue is better than psychological fatigue. In the desert highway with a design speed of 80-100km/h, the fatigue warning signs with black characters on a white background and the interval of 60-80km have the most obvious stimulation effect on driver fatigue.
